Why did the public turn against Nadia? Did the audience of BB change?
 

Watching BB5 right now, Nadia was no different on UBB than she was during BB5. Her personality is pretty much exactly the same. So I don't understand how her behavior is considered acceptable in 2004 and she is loved by everyone, but when she comes back in 2010 and acts the same way she is universally hated and called a bully and a bitch. Did the viewers of the show become too politcally correct?

It just made me realized how much the audience of Big Brother changed. Where back then, nobody would get boo'd on their way in based on appearence and the villains were the characters that people wanted to keep in. Now it's become routine for housemates to be boo'd and hated for stupid reasons and the viewers have become overly judgement. Did Big Brother always had an audience that consisted of jealous teen girls?

Back in 2004, the girls could strip down and make out with each other and wrestle each other and it was cool. Now in 2010, if the female housemates did that everyone would be like "ewww sluts, get them out!".

Just goes to show how much things have changed.

I know some people didn't like her cos she was mean about John James but that's just by people I know,I think she was fine otherwise.

Started watching BB5 a bit ago, stopped now put will probs get back too it. Yeah it is really weird how different it is, what they do and what they say and all that. That is why BB should never come back, BB11 was a kids show.

I think she came across as a bit more agressive and bitchy this time round, I know a load of JJJ people didnt like her just because she told the truth.

Because the public these days are the type of people who dont like entertaining & bitchy people yet complain about the bores. :/

I thought Nadia was greath tbh, not saying I liked her because I didn't really but she livened up the first week as did Coolio.

i think the teenage girls killed off big brother and considering nadia is a woman then the teenage girls went for her.

i also think the teenage girls are slowly gonna take over the x factor to.

I never liked her first time round either but maybe the reason why people liked her then and not now was that the last time they didn't like who she was directing her hissy fits at and this time they did?

yeah, that's a good point, she had a bit of a sob story and wanted to be accepted etc. where as this time round she seemed a bit big headed and thought she could do no wrong

I think you have it backwards. I think they were being Politically Correct back in 2005, i think once Britain congratulated itself for "embracing" a ****** winner, they didn't feel they owed anything more to her, and actually judged her on her personality more honestly on UBB, without PC bias. It wasn't a pretty sight.

i didn't like her the first time round but she didn't really deserve to be boo'd imo seeing all as she was doing is saying what most people thought & still think but the over confident idiot tweens that are never wrong boo'd her because she dared to have an different opinion on the momentary love of their lives jj.

Back in BB5 you got cheered if you was a laugh or entertaining but in the recent series you had to be brad pitt not to get boo'd :nono:

She was the 'chosen one' for BB5. She had an excellent edit. C4 wanted a more interesting winner than the previous one, Cameron the scottish fish seller.

Come UBB all were C4 favourites so she didn't get the edit. She also failed to take into consideration the changes that had occurred to the format of BB and how the audience has changed. That cleared the way for others that had kept up far better.

She did also come across as far more arrogant the second time around. I think so far as she was concerned she was the ultimate housemate and there shouldn't have been a vote for it.
