Who Is the most successful BB housemate of all years?

Excluding Jade Goody, who would you say has had the best career from being a Big Brother housemate.

I think Alison Hammond, she now has a job on this morning and you could argue that shes a celebrity.

I dont think anybody else comes close to that apart from maybe Chantelle or Chanelle.

Niamh. 28-12-2010 12:25 AM

I'd say Alison Hammond for definite but Brian Dowling needs to be on TV more!

MTVN 28-12-2010 12:30 AM

Imogen has done ok, and Chanelle as well. There's actually been very few BB contestants who have been sucessful and remained in the public eye after being on the show

'Conor 28-12-2010 12:57 AM

Brian Dowling
Alison Hammond
Kate Lawlor

Now she's got a child but no partner, she's turning to plastic surgery and the likes of Jack Tweed (Rav's an improvement, but it won't last) .....

Probably Craig Phillips ..... he was a millionaire before he went in the BB house, he's now worth £10m and has money rolling in from property, PAs and TV shows .....

She still does a lot of modelling, she's been on a couple of shows lately (that BBC3 program during the World Cup and Coach Trip) and she's starting to star in movies as well, she's doing pretty well for herself I'd say

Chanelle Hayes is eager to find a father figure for her son Blakely.

After splitting up with the little boy's dad, Middlesbrough footballer Matt Bates, when she was pregnant, Chanelle, 23, says she is ready for another relationship.

‘Matt will always be Blakely's dad, but I'd like to find a male role model for him to grow up with,' says Chanelle.

‘I've been on a few dates but I can't reveal who I'm seeing - I'm no kiss and tell girl!'

IIRC, her only "acting" role to date was a "cameo" in Pobol Y Cwm ..... ;)

In terms of media careers I think the last ex-housemate to get a major TV or radio presenting gig was Jon from BB4. No-one after that really got a media-presenting job off the back of the show. The show changed a bit after that series.

Oh yeah that's true, it's odd that such a popular and sucessful contestant came from what was supposedly such a bad series

Jon only did Brainiac part-time - he kept his day job - I've no idea how much money he made from the show but Samanda made over £1m from endorsements alone in their first year after BB8 ..... ;)

I think it's probs Jon Tickle or Alison Hammond, they did ok and managed to keep their dignity (and sanity) The rest truly ***** themselves out and take whatever they can get.
