I don't see the Daily Mail fussing about this story when they fuss about any other celebrity adoptions.

He went through surrogacy, he didnt go to a country and pick one out like a puppy.

Errr... because like any other parent to be who adopts... they have a choice in whether to opt for a boy or a girl. Why does it stink? Because you don't agree with his choice? :conf:

I'm more respectful of Elton doing this, having been in a solid relationship for many many years - than someone like Madonna for example - who has different partners every few years - at least Elton & David have long term stability about them.

He should have had a baby Girl.

Not so. Many 'celebrities' have adopted without outpouring of negative energy. Usually the ones who jumped on the 'latest fad' bandwagon.

What kind of parent will Elton be? He can't even look after himself. It's just a status thing. I can't see him doing the school run and so on.

Prove to me he would not have.

Given his age, I think it's fair to say he managed to look after himself well enough.....

I'd have thought he wouldn't be doing the 'school run'. After all, many 'normal parents' don't do the school run... seeing as many are out working - and either are already in work, or on their way to work. Don't see that being an issue for everyday folk, not doing the school run.
