Which weekend? I can't wait. I will be watching.

Lol.. there's no way I will get sky. I still live with my mum and dad. We once had it but my dad cancelled it because it was getting expensive and I am not going to waste 50 odd quid a month for it!!

I am happy with freeview :) Every year they usually add on extra channels to freeview anyway!

Sky is the Best
and we will soon have SkyAtlanticHD the home of HBO shows.

Virgin has Sky1HD now
but they need SkyAtlanticHD as well.

Quality Dramas
cost money.

I am happy to pay SkyHD each month.
The Movies in HD are even before they are out on BluRay.
That is Utter Bliss.

I also have FreesatHD
and VirginHD
and SkyFreesat

240 Channels Free

Enjoy even more entertainment with more than 240 free-to-air non-subscription digital channels*, which come free as part of any Sky TV Package you choose - that's four times more than the number of channels Freeview has available.
The free-to-air channels you get with Sky TV include all your BBC† and ITV favourites, as well as film, news, documentary, music, travel and foreign language channels.

you have to have the sky pack which will be so much each month

http://www.sky.com/shop/tv/free-to-air-channels/

Radio 88 channel i have radios and freeview radio stations
Shopping channels 30 i dont watch them
Adult channel 22 now that more like it :joker:

arista 14-01-2011 05:09 PM

SkyFreesat
has CBS Drama channel
and others that Normal freeview does not have.

Thats why SkyFreesat is better.

Confirmation of another Sky Free Weekend

Quote:

Sky Free Weekend

For three days in February, Sky 3 will showcase some of the
best content from the Sky platform to Freeview viewers,
from blockbuster movies to the best new drama and family
entertainment.

On Friday 11 February there’ll be an eclectic mix of
programmes, including An Idiot Abroad, Cougar Town and
Got To Dance, as well as Disney favourites in the morning.
And on Friday evening there’s a chance to see the first
episode from Sky 1’s brand new psychological thriller Mad
Dogs, starring Max Beesley, Philip Glenister, John Simm and
Marc Warren.

Saturday’s line-up boasts Ridley Scott’s blistering spy
thriller Body of Lies, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell
Crowe, as well as the hugely popular football shows, Soccer
AM and Gillette Soccer Saturday.

On Sunday, viewers can catch a double bill of Boardwalk
Empire, Sky Atlantic’s Golden Globe®-winning crime saga from The Sopranos writer Terence Winter and Oscar®-
winning director Martin Scorsese. Set in Prohibitionera
Atlantic City, and starring Steve Buscemi and Kelly
Macdonald, Boardwalk Empire is ambitious and evocative
television at its most thrilling, revealing a glamorous world
of gangsters, corruption, sex and booze.

It’s set to be an unmissable weekend of television,
highlighting the very best that Sky has to offer.
