female bands

or bands where the majority are females. I was reading about Warpaint recently (a 4 piece of all girls) and noted how I couldn't actually think of many others...

the only one that springs to mind is Le Tigre, who have a guy in on further research.

But yeah, basically post any songs you love by female-led or all-girl bands. NOT POP SONGS.

I haven't stopped listening to this in months.

brilliant song. Never really *got* it until recently.

YYY's are my favourite band.

Blondie's another one as well as The Gossip & Metric. Not all female but female led.

Hole <33 well these days Courtney is the only female in the band but in their prime it was her, Melissa auf der Maur and a few other interchanging girls.

I also really like this French band call the Plasticines, all girls. And Veruca Salt have some good stuff.

As far as female lead bands, Fleetwood Mac, No Doubt, Paramore <33

I see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs crop up a lot in your music games, might give em a listen. :)

It's Blitz is their weakest album, still good but it's nothing compared to Fever To Tell & Show Your Bones.

InOne 19-01-2011 07:10 PM

Evenescence
No Doubt
Blondie
The Cranberrys

Probs more but can't think atm

I don't know if you're deliberately trolling or not, but we're discussing bands, as in they play instruments, not vocal groups.

Stu 19-01-2011 08:11 PM

BANDS WHERE THE MAJORITY ARE FEMALES.
