I don't watch this very often,so forgive me if i get the names wrong.

I seen the episode when Mama Dingle was raped.
I then heard her saying to her Grandaughter(?)
"I can't tell Paddy,as he will kill him and get life".

So i asked my partner,"If you was raped would you tell me?"
She replied,"After watching that episode of Emmerdale & knowing how you would react,NO"

I felt very hurt.I now know that if my partner was raped,it would be an unreported crime because in her eyes,to save me.

Would you tell your partner?
Maybe Emmerdale should of left that line out.

Did he get life?

No. Attempted rape and they never found him. I kicked and got away with a few marks. Still told my bloke though and he rang the police. The women were great. The detective basically said I asked for it

I would but he wouldn't get caught.

An ex girlfriend of mine was raped, she told me about it a while later.

The man who raped her is due out in 2012.

Did the rape contribute into her being an ex?

Hopefully to die a long,painful,cancerous death.
He should of been hanging from the gallows.

In a way, she didnt like the way i dealt with the situation. He had raped her a while before I met her. So reporting the crime would not have yielded any real results except dragging it all up again for her.


Well you never know that might still happen, however he is currently spending time in one of Her Majestys finest hostelries for something he definately wasnt guilty of, but hey sometimes karma needs a helping hand.
