I missed out on a ticket for any of the first tour dates they released but this time i was prepared sitting by the computer on the right website waiting for it to hit 10am and they were surprisingly easy enough to get. I think you should post on this thread the day after you've seen them and give me a wee preview of what i should expect. |
Just got back from the Beady Eye gig.
It was incredible. Best gig I've to for atmosphere, even if I did get covered in beer, sweat and piss. Also, Liam's voice sounds a lot better live than it did in the late Oasis days. |
I went to see R. Kelly in London on friday. Amazing show.
Went with my mate and met up with a couple of others from an R Kelly forum I go on during the show then went out drinking afterwards.. Was a good night. Train home took the piss though, was a match day and a bank holiday. |

How good is Four Letter Word to open the gig? Also as we were awaiting Liam and co. to come out the DJ put on 'I Am The Resurrection' by the Stone Roses and the whole place was bouncing to it, the whole place was a pit! Must have had about 4 pints worth of beer lobbed over my head but I couldn't care less, if any thing it was a relief as I was sweating like a mad man! And yep Liam's voice has got much better again, must have needed that 18 month break. Also the B-sides 'Man of Misery' and 'Sons of the Stage' were bangin' tunes. My only possible criticism I could possibly take from it was that I wasn't sure about the echo-sound during 'The Morning Son', didn't really work for me. Here's a video I took when performing 'Kill For A Dream': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mulGd7-UVoc Edit: Not sure how to post the video so it shows up. |
I'm going to see Brother in Glasgow on 22nd September :)
|
I'm going to a concert on Sunday but I'm too embarrassed to say who's it is!
