Does Sam lack charisma?
I know he's way ahead of everyone else in terms of ability but I don't particularly find him interesting, in fact I rather enjoy watching Vanilla Ice's performances more as I think he's more exciting:D.
|
I find him boring, but not because he lacks Charisma, but because he's so good, he's had past experience which imo puts him at a great advantage. He's getting really high scores and it's only week three, it detracts from the competition with him in it, because you know he's gonna come top every week.

No, I like him. He doesn't ooze Charisma, but then he doesn't lack it either. Very few of them actually ooze Charisma though
Vanilla is still my fave for now, with both Sam and Laura second faves. |
It's like last year with Hayley, it was ok for the first time because she was the best skater, she had a connection with her skater and she had a likeable personality ( well some people thought). But I don't think viewers want that again, it will just make the show boring. I know i'll be dissapointed if he wins

I do find him dull and the fact he's now seeing Brianne is making it slightly vomit-worthy

It almost feels that they wanted the public to know of their romance aiming to get even more publicty. It just feels a little cheesy at the moment. |
I think he's a bit shy. He's a good skater. Quite likeable.
There are a lot of good skaters though! Sam, Vanilla, Laura, Chloe, Jennifer. Jeff at times. Comedy Dave for the comedy factor  |
yes and his overscored as i think laura is better than him.
|
I think he is for an actor, rather introvert but I agree with Jedward Fever, Laura is really good and does get less votes for a much better performance.
Sam can skate but the artistry is a bit lacking. I still like Jeff too. |

He's good as in skating abilty but he definately lacks the pazzazz to give out what I'd consider to be classed as an 'entertaining' performance. He's got no 'oomph', no vigour, no excitement, no passion, no real feeling, when he is on the ice.
It's like watching a singer with an incredibly good voice, belting out powerful songs - but standing there like a wet blanket with no expression, no body movemnt. Great to listen to, but a lot is lost watching the performance. In the case of DOI - it's essential. Being able to skate well is only element of what's required to give out an entertaining performance. |
