Egyptian President Mubarak vows to quit

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has said he will not stand for re-election in September, as protests against his rule grow.

Amazing really, Tunisia was relatively surprising but is of minor signficance in comparison to Egypt and was nowhere near as stable.

I dont know if the protests will end here though, it wont suit a lot of them who want him to stand down immediately
