"Miss Kercher's father John said the images in the U.S. film are 'absolutely horrific'. 'It's so awful what these film people have done. Your imagination runs riot as it is about what happened but to actually see it like this is very different and very distressing,' he said."

Shasown 04-02-2011 04:15 PM

Nope to be quite frank you have been here long enough to understand what forums you should post threads various.

I think the thread should be moved to the movies forum and also you should be taken out and flogged sir.

As one of the more respected members of the forum you should be leading by example and this lapse is scandalous.

More junior members will follow your example and start posting other rubbish in serious debates and the forum will descend into anarchy.

Eventually it could snowball and threaten civilisation as we know it.

Ninastar 04-02-2011 05:04 PM

She could play anyone and I'd still  her

Hardly "alleged". She was tried and found guilty.

Wow Gyps, I imagine you had to wade through a massive pile of evidence to have come to that conclusion, considering the verdict of the court!

I actually saw a snippet about this on the news today (well, I was in a shop so they had the volume down but they had subtitles) from what I could catch there may be a retrial so the question is should they have made the film at all when the case hasn't been finished yet which would be a serious debate, not so much about the casting though granted!

No not a retrial, appeals hearings are currently underway, both for prosecution (to increase the sentence) and defence appeals (re examination of forensic evidence and the trial judges rulings on it). They have been for a few months.

Its pre-release publicity for the movie covering the murder and trial.

well, like I said I only caught a bit of it while in the shop. Still though the publicity I have seen regarding it would turn me off the film tbh

It's amazing how having a wealthy family and good connections can get a murderess a biopic featuring a well known actress in the title role, in order to promote the propaganda that she is of course innocent of all charges:bored:

I'm sure the victim's family are overjoyed and it won't upset them one little bit.:bored:

If there is a retrial then no way should the film come out first.
