PAYG Net Dongle - Any advice?
A friend of mine has had some financial and situation problems. Without giving sob story or breaking confidences, he is now in a rented flat with little chances of companies giving him contracted broadband.
I found this as an outlet to get him back online: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-6036.aspx £30 for 3 months "unlimited" sounds excellent - but he's asked me if that would let him do things like stream footie matches which we both used to do (eg Bundeliga 2 games using gambling sites). I've no experience of ever having a mobile broadband dongle so not a scooby-doo - any advice??? |
I would say they are terrible for watching vids/streams Ian but that might just be the ones I've saw, the one my sister has is crap for everything, it takes ages to even load up a page.

'a friend of mine'
oh that old chestnut.... |
Thanks Jose - I don't want to give him a bad call and spend £30 uselessly in his situation - if only Celtic had won yesterday, I'd have given that Tesco Direct one as a gift just to try!
