Big Brother winners!

Right there is the other thread going around about who were the most manipulative housemates.

However are there any BB winners from the normal and celeb version you think were manipulative? Did they win because they played a good game and didn't manage to slip up? Or were they just genuine, nice people?

Beastie 09-02-2011 10:07 AM

I think possibly Pete from bb7. I do think he is a genuinely nice person. However especially in the last few weeks him and maybe a few others thought they should still stick with the "nice persona" to try and win in the end.

Some winners are quiet in the beginning but in the last few weeks they manage to stick up for themselves or say things that they know the majority of the public will like to give them more votes!

Bennett was totally manipulative, from the initital "pratfall" on entry - his passive-aggressive role was sustained almost to the end of the series ..... :yuk:

Nadia I think was manipulative

Niamh. 09-02-2011 10:17 AM

maybe Josie a bit as well

Omah 09-02-2011 10:21 AM

Stout - manipulative homophobic bible-bashing bully .....

Beastie 09-02-2011 10:25 AM

I personally think ALL the winners were manipulative. Maybe not to the extent of the queens of manipulativeness like Bea and Makosi. But the winners had a few positive traits that would win the public over that Bea and Makosi didn't have. Like the "vulnerability factor".

Thinking about all the winners actually. I think Anthony from bb6 probably seemed the most genuine. Eventhough he was one of my least favourite winners..... mmm.

Or Craig, he was very normal and down to earth.

Yeah I probably would say Craig. However he was nominated every week. He had the "vulnerability factor". I think Anthony from bb6 had the least vulnerability. I don't think he really played up to anything! Although.. one week.. he nominated Sam.. and at one point I thought them 2 was going to get it on. He did say Sam spoke out her arse. Maybe he wasn't the type of bloke who just went for girls with "looks" after all. I think he prefers women who is like "one of the lads". Probably while Saskia was friendly with him and Maxwell. I was going to say Saskia was a it manipulative but I don't think she was. it was Makosi. Saskia genuinely got on well with her little group but wasn't afraid to beat around the bush with the people she didn't get on with. Eventhough she was in the minority.

Beastie 09-02-2011 10:35 AM

I don't know really. I think the early winners probably seemed more genuine because they didn't know what they were letting themselves into. As series went on.. people became desperate to win and try to do what it takes to win!

Makosi was a good game player!! In terms of game playing she should have won. But people like a nice, humble person!!

BB12 should have more gameplaying tactics though. Where EVERYONE plays the game and there is nowhere to hide!!

Exactly, BB changed, and it after all it is a game, so more gameplayers would be great.

Makosi was a game-player in real-life (and still is) - she lost her grasp of "reality" long before she left Zimbabwe, where she became the mistress of Mugabe's Robert Mugabe's nephew Phillip Chiyanghwa at 16 and then passed through the hands of various "sugar daddies" until she arrived in England .....

Josie gave the producers a BJ so they would show what a dull cow she was so the public would fall in love with her, even though all she did was sleep, bitch, smoke and pretend to have a fake romance.

ILoveTRW 09-02-2011 03:44 PM

Anthony would play up the cameras, dancing around every single morning when the alarm came on

Chuck 09-02-2011 04:07 PM

Pete Bennett and that horrible bully Josie ( I'm fat, I smoke, I'n in love with a prince charming, I'm complexed with my weight, I feel threatened by a "perfect girl" ( Keeley ), who might steal my man = Bridget Jones ).

Beastie 09-02-2011 04:11 PM

Oh my god chuck pass! I like your siggy of Maxwell and Saskia

Chuck 09-02-2011 04:12 PM

Nadia is and will always be my favourite ever winner, but she was very manipulative.
