would you steal from god ?

would you steal from god ?

there dose not need to be a camera recording,
because god No's if this crime will be rewarding.
conscience is vital, it will be there downfall,
every time they look up,they will see the god call.
it should eat away at them and cause unease,
that's unless they are giving there earnings to charity, yes please.
but its not going to happen, you can rob god,
it shows what they are more interested in earning a few bob.
what has society come to, its lost its shame,
these are low acts and all excuses are lame.
but god will come good, the belongings are stained,
the criminals who dose this, will be drained.
i have faith in my god, and the church will survive,
as for the criminals who stole from god, justice for sure will arrive.

yeah, I don't see why stealing from a church is any worse than stealing from a person tbh

If I was ever forced to steal to provide for my family I would have no hesitation taking from a church.

God can afford it I am sure.

The church can too, they have insurance, so I take whatever, the church claims on their insurance, and they get it replaced.

Insurance companies cover the loss. They reclaim their money by robbing us all blind with high premiums, excesses etc.

Redistribution of wealth

The world still turns.

If it was a choice between having to steal from a hard working family grafting to keep a house over their head and survive, or from somewhere like (for example) the obscenely rich Catholic church/chapel....... it would be the latter every time.

After all... God forgives ..... or so we are all led to believe. If that's the case, there's nothing to really worry about.

For a moment I thought you were going to quote Malachi 3:8-12

Quote:

“Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.

“But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’

“In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the LORD Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the LORD Almighty.
What the OP is describing is theft from buildings owned either by a denomination or a specific congregation. These metal thefts are driven by mere greed.

If there is a genuine problem of hardship then some congregations may render benevolence, although they probably will not give money out, because people may try and con money out of the church.

I have heard of one church in Glenrothes, Scotland, where they would have men or women come and say they needed money for milk to feed their babies, so this church had on site a range of infant formula which they could offer. If the case was genuine, then they were helping out, but more often I heard was that when offered the range of infant formula, the people trying to con money from the church, admitted what they were trying to do.

Yes, of course.

MTVN 12-02-2011 04:14 PM

No I wouldnt, but I wouldnt make a distinction between stealing something from a Church, or "from God" like you called it, and just stealing something from anywhere else.

InOne 12-02-2011 04:18 PM

It's weird but I sorta see stealing from a Church worse D: It's something I've had drilled into me all my life and it's hard to shake the thought. I don't believe or anything though
