Glenn Hoddle apologises after sparking new Sky Sports row with 'racist' joke
Former England manager Glenn Hoddle apologised today after being accused of a making racist joke while commentating for Sky Sports last night.
The 53-year-old, who was chosen to replace disgraced pundit Andy Gray, made the blunder live on air during half-time analysis during the Premiership clash between Fulham and Chelsea. Commenting on a bungled move for the ball by Chelsea player Fernando Torres, he said: ‘It’s come off his chest, his knee, and his toe. It’s almost like that Chinese player Knee Shin Toe’.
