Hans Zimmer's Inception score
 

What do you think of the score from Inception by Hans Zimmer? I personally love it, it's so epic and powerful. I especially love the track above "Dream is Collapsing", it's played quite a few times throughout the film and it never fails to leave it's impact on me.

It failed miserably in the sense that it overshadowed quite a lot of the scenes in the already not-as-good-as-people-make-it-out-to-be feature itself.

Soundtracks are designed to compliment a scene, not dwarf it. I also think it's a bit ... well ... standard. Typical Zimmer epic gooey stuff.

My soundtrack of the year is Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross's stuff on The Social Network. It's different yet fits really well with the film.

Didn't really notice the music. Amazing film though.

I always loved the trailer music. Thought it was brilliant, but the boing noise gets stuck in your head after a while. lol

Also love that, it's really chilling!
