I should imagine it's more to do with the horrendous security measures that would be required to protect the President of the most hated country in the world from assassination, and all the intrusiveness that would entail, as well as attracting an increased security risk for the royal couple themselves.

As it is President Obama is on a State Visit at the end of May at which he will be staying with Queen at Buck House. Will he have changed colour by then?

I doubt the Obamas care at all, since President Obama has made no secret of his dislike of the British and in particular of our monarchy. His visit in May is as Head of State, and the Queen is our Head of State, so he will have to swallow his dislike of all things British and will just have to put up with the pomp, ceremony and luxurious surroundings of Buck House when he stays over - it's a hard life!

In actual fact Obama is mixed race as he has a white mother, but it's convenient for the Americans to overlook that so they can pat themselves on the back for electing a "black" President.

One of the first things Obama did when he arrived at the Whitehouse was to return a bust of Winston Churchill that had been sent to a previous president as a gift. He also recently, despite our supposed "special relationship", and in the face of France's refusal to back the USA in their War On Terror, called Sarkosy and the French people "America's most steadfast ally". Even Americans had to laugh at that one, surely. He's no friend of the British, why should be be invited to the Royal Wedding?

Actually, for as long as i've been born people have been calling mixed race people black. When Halle Berry was more an actress within the black circuit she was seen as black, and many other mixed people were seen as black. Halle recently said she sees herself as black.White people in general, I think, also see mixed people as black. It's only now that people are beginning to identify mixed people as mixed.
