No

Clearly people are obsessed with her, seeing as we need to have a separate thread to discuss her charts :amazed:

Ninastar 02-03-2011 10:10 PM

the song is good but shes such a mess.

KG. 02-03-2011 10:11 PM

Lol at 2:11, I actually quite like this, why on earth she released that beyond awful Born This Way instead of a more techno one like this beats me.

There was actually a better one, when she nearly went flying :laugh2:

And because of the message of the song, it wasn't really about the music :/

Niall 02-03-2011 10:28 PM

I LOVE THIS SONG! :amazed: :cheer2:

do you actually believe the crap you write?

like she's gonna deliberately release a sh!t record as the lead single just because of its cliched message!

why didnt she just make a better record with the same message? :laugh3:

Shaun 02-03-2011 10:31 PM

was that her at the start?

-cue Zippy tirade about her smoking being a bad example-

She said before the song was released there were better songs on the album and she was releasing this because she wanted to put a song out there with a blatent straight down the line message

no thats your spin on it. You chat like she knew it was a poor song but was oh so desperate to tell the world its ok to be a freak! She and her cronies bigged the song up massively before release and you know it.

and this song sounds like a million techno poppy dancey clubby songs we've heard already. Are we still pretending she's original at this point?

that said, I quite like it. Not hugely but compared to BTW at least.

oh look she grabbed her crotch again.....never seen an artist do that before.

That's not my spin on it, that's what she's said in numerous interviews...plus it's kinda common sense not to put the best song on the album out as the first single kinda defeats the point of it.

And omg she grabbed her crotch :o I grabbed my crotch when I was 12, bitch copied me

-phones lawyers-

actually artists usually put the strongest song out first to give the album a big debut. A weak lead single can kill an album(see Duffy and numerous others for examples) before it even gets going. Of course, they don't always choose right. But as a general rule its strongest first.

Umm, no it isn't, just look at the current album chart, Adele, Jessie J, Rihanna, Eminem, GaGa, P!nk, Paloma Faith, Katy Perry, Hurts, The Script all have better songs released after the debut single. You start with a strong song, but the strongest song on the album.

No. They may not be the strongest in YOUR opinion but they were all huge hit lead singles and could easily be considered to have been chosen for their obvious big hit potential.

regardless of whether BTW is the definite strongest(subjective) it was still considered to be amongst the strongest clearly. You've even just admitted that(see above). Now then.

Smithy 02-03-2011 11:16 PM

-was talking about TFM not BTW-

Bad romance was the strongest track, my dearest.

*takes gun off Smithy before he shoots his other foot*

Smithy 03-03-2011 01:26 PM

Poker Face/Paparazzi > Just Dance

DITD/Speechless > Bad Romance

Shaun 03-03-2011 03:27 PM

bad romance is clearly her best song. no contest :p

Smithy 03-03-2011 03:31 PM

Well w/e my point still stands on TF and all the other aforementioned albums

InOne 03-03-2011 03:32 PM

Just Dance is her best song

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 04-03-2011 09:26 AM

this is amazing :amazed:

her best song ever imo :worship:

Stop contradicting yourself.

The fact you think Born This Way is poor, is your opinion, not a fact.
