How to disable images.
 

I know some people have been having trouble with disabling images on the forum, people seem to complain that images and gifs slow down their internet because they don't know the option exists. This should be useful for anyone who has a slow internet connection or if you just want the forum to speed up a bit. If you hate gifs then you should disable images too, I know lots of people have complained about them and I know they are overused.
It's very simple.

First you might want to open a new tab or window containing the forum and log in, then you can follow along with the instructions without forgetting ay steps.

1. Click on User CP.

2. Under the settings and options menu, click Edit Options.

3. Scroll down to the third module titled Thread Display Options.

4. Under Visible Post Elements there are three boxes with options of items you wish to have on display.

5. Click on the little box next to the words Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code) to remove the tick inside.

There you have it, wasn't that easy?

Disclaimer: You can also disable Avatars and Signatures using this method.

Stay on topic everyone please, I never said gifs weren't overused, I just wantd to make this thread because I thought lots of people didn't know how to do it.

This
