What Two Colours go the best together?

I just mean in general

Blue and Yellow for me, I remember when i use to go to some candle factory place and you could make a candle from two colours i always choose Blue and Yellow and had about 12 blue and yellow candles in the end

I would say sky blue and white, although I think that is more to do with the associations of those colours rather than how they compliment each other.
