BIG Brother’s latest wannabes could be forced into three-in-abed action – because there aren’t enough beds to go around.

Housemates will have to couple up and even go for threesomes from Day One.

Cunning TV bosses have installed just eight single beds and three doubles at the newlook spy-on-the-wall house.

But with at least 12 housemates going in on Thursday, two will have to snuggle up under the duvet from the word go.

Even more wannabes are rumoured to be joining the longest-ever Big Brother series – which lasts a marathon 13 weeks – so there’ll be the threat of going three to a bed.

“It’s up to the housemates to decide who sleeps where and ultimately who sleeps with who on launch night,” said executive producer Sharon Powers.

The move is a clear sign that the producers are pushing the contestants for some saucy between-the-sheets action.

They hope to spice up the show in the face of a ratings threat from a string of ITV reality shows including Soccer Aid, Celebrity X Factor and Love Island.

And they’re banking on plenty of fun with one new piece of furniture – a £3,000 water bed.

“We just know the wannabes will be fighting over who gets to sleep on it,” said a show source.

“It’s a double so we’re hoping for plenty of frolics from the girls and boys bobbing up and down day and night. Let’s hope they don’t get too excited and burst the bed. They could end up flooding the place.”

Among those tipped to take part are Emma Spellar, 23, a blonde former Miss Great Britain, porn star Lea Walker, 35, and former Miss Wales Imogen Thomas, 23. But Big Brother bosses are still finalising the list of housemates.

BB senior chief Phil Edgar Jones said: “We have about 50 people in the mix for the final line-up.

“People will have to wait until Thursday night to find out who the real housemates are.”
