should the army run our prisons?

at first i thought this was barmy,
i mean how can you run a prison with the army.
but now its adding up, and discipline is calling,
this could be a deterrent, inmates might start falling.
no more prisoners demanding to be called by there surname,
"scum bag get over here" its now all about the shame.
all H-M-P staff are now dismissed and all contracts destroyed,
get rid of the lot, none of you need be employed.
the army now have a new platform,
officers rise through the rankings on how well they perform.
the tougher prisons are the bigger the promotion,
for once in this life time, the criminals have emotion.
this was all provoked by the H-M-P strike,
and now the army should take over and tell H-M-P staff on there bike.

Dont you think the armed forces have enough to do already, what with all those countries our politicians decide its in our interests to play in, filling and putting out sandbags when the rain gets a bit heavy, putting on shows and demonstrations for all those tourists who like that sort of thing. Standing in for the firemen when they go on strike etc. Training for war, training for peacekeeping duties, training for civil emergencies. Search and Rescue, Crash guards and body recoveries.

Most servicemen have a hard enough time getting the leave thats supposed to be part of their contract.

Oh and they dont get paid overtime like the police etc do.

adding a third "Oh Joe you're so silly" option to every poll isn't cute or funny, it just makes you come off as a dippy twat.

Dont think you really understood this story, Birmingham jail is to be privatised and the army might have to be called in temporarily if prisoners strike over the process, they're not going to "run our prisons"
