Lets face it Channel 5 viewing figures suck balls so they are gonna do anything to rake in the viewers or even get on the news.

Totally agree Daniel, its brilliant to see the forum buzzing again.

When I left, this forum was depending on 'member banter' to keep it alive.

Towards the end of 2010/early 2011 all this forum was, was Stacey, UKTurtle, Vicky, Smithy, Shaun, Jordan, Iceman, Jessica, Myself, Niall and a few others arguing and making jokes which eventually got old.

Now, it's all about Big Brother again.
How it should be.

And I agree, if Big Brother 12, 13 and 14 manage about 2 Million viewers a night [which is all I'm hoping for really] then I'm confident in Channel 5 signing another deal in 2 Years.

It'll be their most watched show, honestly.

I Know , its Brillant and theres loads of new members. From Early 2011 it was basically dead but i carried on to go here but if channel 5 hadnt of made an announcement by the end of april , i would of probally left

I personally thought it was trundling along pretty nicely for 'off-season'. Certainly no more dead than usual when BB's not on but yes, it is great to see a buzz about the place again

Yeah, I love how when BB ended alot of members on here were like 'WOOHOO, LET'S CHANGE THE NAME OF THE SITE!'

Like being proper insensitive dick heads to all the real fans.

What a fail that would of been if Mark had of listened and changed the name to 'ThisisXFactor' :bored:

It is cool though how that 'Permanent' or 'Forever' Off Season, only lasted 8 Months though LOL

It'll die down when the initial excitement is over and we're not really getting much info (about a week or two) and then it will pick up again around July.

In September when the show ended, infact during BB11 alot of us were trying to enjoy the series just as any fan actually would do on TiBB.

But we were called 'Sad' and 'Pathetic' by people like Wombai and other trolls 24/7 and nothing was done about it.

During BB10 you could discuss anything you wanted about BB, last year you were slated for saying something as much as 'I don't want the show to end :('.

Hardly July.

There will be news coming with rumours about celebrities, That MrMarky bloke throwing new info down our throats everyday, and the Daily Star printing random stuff.

Last year BB11 hype begun in April rather than May.

So that's like, what 2 months before BB11 begun?
This year will be the same, only thing is we've got a whole new thing to look forward to including The Host, New Features and how the house is coming along.

It won't be over, there will be 'quiet days' but don't expect April, May and June to just become dead.

They're the months BB Hype is at it's best.

Omg I forgot about all the hype and pre-BB stuff. I can't wait for all that.

And omg I can't wait for the eye reveal either thats always so fun.

Patrick, lets get real. I specifically remember telling you to shut your trap at the beginning of BB11 because you were constantly moaning about how rubbish it was and bringing everybody down!

Then suddenly you decided it was great and you started having a go at others for moaning about it being dull!

So your opinion goes up & down like everybody elses. Youre not the 100% loyal fan you make out.

Lets get a bit of perspective here, the announcement means that in any normal year we're now in the same position as we would be in September in the lead up to CBB, or in February in the lead to main BB. We're a good 4 months off and whilst the Daily Star might leak the odd tidbits over the next few months, we won't be getting anything major until at least mid-June. Thats still 2 months off and probably when they'll announce the new host. You could fit CBB and BB in the space between now and when its likely to start, thats how far away it is.
