Does Channel 4 Still Own Dead Set?

Would they still have the rights to air this? Or would they even want to air it?

They usually air it every Halloween, so what do you think this year?
Or will it look really funny and out of place considering Big Brother 12 will be chilling on Channel 5 whilst they're airing that?

It was made by E4 and written by Charlie Brooker so I would think they haven't lost any rights. And whether they air it again or not, I seem to be the only person who think channel 4 did the right thing in axing BB.

No, Alot of us think they did the right thing.

Not at the time, but looking back they did.
Channel 4 was dragging Big Brother down, PC Bastards.

BB is better off without it.

Wasnt just Channel 4, mainstream media, commentators even fans complained of the formula being the same, give people drink and watch the fights.

Ofcom got on the case and advised CH4 to tone down the alcohol induced fun and games, hence the limiting of booze and ensure there was no bullying etc.

Local residents complained about the noise from late night garden antics, hence the fact parties were limited in length and location.

Its okay saying give them booze and sod the complaints, thats not exactly clever, they had warnings. Fines and other punishments would have followed. After that you are looking at them not being allowed to transmit BB. In the long term it could also affect their ability to renew transmission licences.
