I sense a twist....

Right hello :xyxwave:

Okay.. so CBB8 will start in August.. with BB12 on straight after.

I have thought of a twist. What if.. The celebrity who wins CBB8 will get the chance to be on the normal series of BB and try and win the 500 grand!! It's like last year when Josie went into UBB but it's the other way around.

Just think.. I doubt any Celeb will be paid any more than 200 grand to appear on CBB8. I can imagine the winner being Amy Childs and if so.. of course she would go into normal BB and take up the chance of winning 500 grand in which I bet she will only get paid a tenth of that amount for doing CBB8.

So what do you think of this twist?

MrFrost 11-04-2011 11:21 PM

yes good idea, BUT again, sort of why josie left, THAT 'celeb' would have been in the house 16 weeks, they would have lost the plot and would deffo walk

Yes but also there was no extra prize fund for Josie.

There is 500 grand at stake here!! Someone like Amy Childs would beam at the offer. Potentially up to 13 weeks of extra exposure and a chance of winning 500 grand. I reckon she will be paid no more than 50 grand for doing CBB8 if she goes on!

It would work if it was the other way around (normal to celebrity house) but i dont think that would work because not all the celebs would want to do that

Doogle 11-04-2011 11:27 PM

I think it would depend on the celebrity. If they were desperate enough to boost their fame by staying in there for 16 weeks then maybe. But I don't think even the most desperate "celebs" would do that.

I think someone like Amy Childs would. But not all of them.

I just had to Google her to see who she is.

Oh yeah I agree she would definitely do it. She'd stay in there for years if she had to.

No, just no...
Keep the normal series and CBB8 seperate. As its the first BB on C5 and the first normal series of BB in ages, I just want a normal series but with good housemates, twists and everything it needs to make it brilliant! But keep it seperate.

So glad you don't dicide what goes on for BB, all the twists ect I've seen that you have posted have been rubbish!

To be honest.. I don't even want the celebrity winner to go into the normal series. I am just guessing what they could potentially do.

And excuse me, which of my twists have been rubbish??

Have you actually contributed anything?

MrFrost 11-04-2011 11:34 PM

maybe next year but a 16 week stint in a house on a new channel which may not even be doing well in ratings.. It's a big risk! There's only one celebrity that will do this against his will!!

Yep, yes I have :xyxwave:

I'd like that idea if it wasn't for the same thing happening [and wasted] with BB11/UBB.

MrFrost 11-04-2011 11:40 PM

Karl Pilkington is cbbs answer. Ricky Gervais is a BB fan and wants him in

Judging by the useless list of "celebs" which are rumoured I'd rather forget about them all after, possibly not even watch if it's as bad as it sounds and then starts a fresh with BB12.

DrunkerThanMoses 12-04-2011 09:19 AM

Yeah, make them go mad and kill all the normal housemates :)

Gillian-73 12-04-2011 12:34 PM

No! the two should be separate, no mixing 'celebs' with the normal bb.... please!

RichardG 12-04-2011 12:50 PM

I doubt she would do it to be honest.
As shocking as it may be, she does actually have work and has to film new episodes of 'The Only Way is Essex', and I can imagine that a new series will be starting around March next year like it did this year so surely she would have to be out of the house to film it?
