i dont get it, everyone used to watch big brother! it used to have really high rating, what the hell happend to it?

People used to like voting for joe public to become household names and change their lives coz we could relate to them but when BB was literally full of people who thought they deserved fame people stopped caring about them and switched off.

Race row happened. That's what. Channel 4 got scared. Got too PC, Big Brother feeds of controversy and needed it like we need air.

Channel 4 strangled Big Brother so no controversy was hitting the front page. Got boring. Viewers switched off.

Nutshell.

They started having freaks as housemates instead of normal interesting people.

Race Row, **** housemates, Bad tasks/twists. :bored:

And they would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for you pesky kids.

I'm guessing C4 stopped the controversy and made things a lot stricter when it came to arguments and stuff like that, after the Race Row.

well.... A main reason is reality tv moved on. It copies big brother and big brother should of sued eg. I'm a celeb, love island..

Other shows like dancing on ice and strictly stole the older fans away from us and now with shows like jersey shore and towie may have even stole some of the younger age

Think bb8 was better than bb10 and bb11 put together it just got **** after bb7 cause they couldn't top it.

How could you possibly sue? It created a boom in a genre of television it didn't invent. Could Coronation Street sue EastEnders?

And I would just like to add... Jade Goody was not racist! To be racist you have to intend to be, Jade just didn't have a very big dictionary, she wasn't a horrible person and she had a good heart. Shilpa Shetty was a stuck up, snobby, pathetic biitch who ruined Jade's life.

And the picture attached is so unnecessary it's un-real.

Yeah Shilpa Shetty really set out to ruin Jade, didn't she. It was all her fault. Stupid woman.

I just used to assume Jade was some racist woman who was once on Big Brother.

But now I've looked deeper into the matter, I have to agree. I can't believe Jo and Danielle got out of it so easily. Oh and Jade's mum and Jack.

I never said she set out to ruin Jade's life. But she did being the snobby, patronising, pathetic person she is.

I think it will get good viewing figures again though, I think people will want to see what it's like on Channel 5, I know a lot of people who haven't watched it regularly for years but they are going to watch it on Channel 5.

Lyle and scott sued next for having a simular bird logo on the top left chest. I'm sure there are ways around it

Of course Shilpa didn't set out to ruin Jade's life. Jade did that on her own accord. Shilpa was such a lovely, elegant, forgiving person. She was bullied by Jade, Jackiey, Jack, Danielle and Jo. These 5 were threatened by her because Shilpa was everything they weren't. I do agree that Jade got a lot more stick than what she deserved and the other 4 got away scott free. Well maybe not Jo. But Danielle just fluttered her eyelashes and got away with it.

Shilpa was the first to forgive Jade. Then the public forgave Jade. Well the public began to feel sorry for her when she got cancer. Jade should have never got cancer or die at the tender age of 27 but she did. I didn't mind Jade. I liked her. I think she was in the wrong when bullying Shilpa though. She needed dropping down a peg or 2.

There was nothing wrong with Shilpa though. It was Phil Edgar Jones mistake for letting Jade back into BB in the first place. However these type twists have to always be tried out to see if they work. Unfortunately this didn't work and from this series BB went downhill. I suppose it's Jades fault in a way.

However.. WHO CARES. That was the past.. this is the future. BB is about to rise again from the dead and be rejuvenated into something hopefully a lot better and less mentally draining.
