Can THESE be added to the swear censorship?

should of > should have
would of > would have
could of > could have

The grammatically-challenged users will soon learn and it won't annoy some members (including me) when we read this Earth-shattering mistake of grammar when it comes up.

Sorry to be a pr!ck.

No.

Jack_ 16-04-2011 07:14 PM

Sounds like a good idea to me

No *wants to correct people's bad english*

I approve of this.

And if I see one more apostrophe in a plural in Novo's posts I'm going to sacrifice a Rangers fan.

I'd rather have a new forum skin than censoring things like this.

But there's no point, a skin's a way better addition to the forum.

Shaun 16-04-2011 08:08 PM

I'm just wondering if there are any circumstances where 'should of' would be a correct form. The only example I can think would be something like:

"Yes, Lesley should of course be evicted."

but then again that should technically be:

"Yes, Lesley should, of course, be evicted."

You should OF PM'd an admin if its bothering you that much.

Locke. 16-04-2011 08:18 PM

There is nothing wrong with writing things like should of, it is faster than writing it the other way.. An it's not like we're doing a test :bored:

of course could be censored to of course. lol maybe that'd work.

Sounds like a very good excuse for people that aren't arsed how people type on a forum
