The Voters vs The Forums vs The General Public
 

Do you find that there are differences in attitudes between these groups?

The clueless voters want dullards in there, the forums want the opposite, and the everyday fans... I dunno.

I think people on forums are more likely to get obsessed with the housemates

From what I have been told from mates, they tend to vote based on how a person comes across on the friday HL show more thn anything else, they dont really tend to have favorites either. Not to the extent of people on here do anyways

They are also usually totally clueless to things that have happened. But this is because they only watch the HL shows...whereas people on forums tend to know everything that goes on..

Yeah I don't like how one little thing on the Friday night can sway someone's vote because it's so close the the eviction. :(

Its more the fact that the producers know this and they used to give certain housemates favourable edits, sometimes entirely leaving them out of the HL show just to save them that annoyed me :laugh:

Oh yeah, that too, Vicky. :mad: I dunno what Endemol's problem was with recent BBs, ESPECIALLY BB11. They were so obviously against John James.

I never listen to the highlights because they editing them so crap.

Live feed show the real housmetaes for who they are

Come on. You have to watch the highlights shows since a lot of interesting stuff is censored to save it for the highlights. (I hope to God they stop doing that. They should only censor personal/adult stuff.)

We are the best.. The voters are the worst!

Of course the highlights have all the swear words and uncesored stuff, however I hate the terrible editing.

Example, dave last year in live feed was two faced gameplaying bitch who did nothing but bitch and scheame a gameplan.... in the highlights, he was a nice fella.

Not many people pick up the phone to vote anymore. Hence why the boring ones stay in. It better be a vote to SAVE. Yeah.. it might not actually work.. but after 11 years of the same old "vote to evict" and 9 times out of 10 the entertaining or interesting ones goes.. then I think it's safe to say.. "it's time for a change".

Or.. it bugs me when 2 good housemates are against each other for eviction. This is usually the case too nowadays :( Hopefully it won't be just the housemates nominations that decides whos up for eviction. But that ALL the housemates have to take part in a survival task or something.

LOL. Total opposite. I liked him but they bent over backwards for him.

A lot of his rants were cut out of the HLS, and they even let him make a phonecall to stop him walking out :bored:

Oh yeah it went both ways. But I was thinking of the massage with Rachael. I saw it on both LF and HL, and on the HL John seemed more unjustifiable as to why he said some of the nasty stuff. And when he wanted to leave so much one night, on LF he had mentioned Bob Righter coming in and doing the crab dance or something, which shows BB were taking the p!ss out of him, but on the HL they didn't show Bob Righter doing any crab dance or show any mentioning of it... http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...d.php?t=156943

(There was also that time Victor had a secret task to record someone bitching about someone else where no-one got the hints he was giving out about being on a secret mission, so when Vanessa (who on the website video) said "Oh he's got a task" he was like "FFS why isn't anyone getting the hint??" On the HLs they blatantly cut Vanessa saying he has a task, making Victor look like he has (even more :laugh:) anger issues.)

Yeah totally with you on that, & the people who watch LF, to the people who only watch the HL's, a few of my family friends watch the HL, but dont watch LF, have a totally different opinion, to most of the HM's than i do.

how was they against john james? if they showed even half of his 7 hour rant on the highlights in week 7,he would have been evicted.

Only watched the HL because, well, my internet is so damn slow and don't you have to pay? My mum would not let me. :joker:

But hrm, I watched the LF a bit on E4. I watched Nasty Nominations live, but then they went and put in a bloody ad break halfway through. I hated how bloody edited Nasty Noms were on the HL show, really showed me what I was missing out by not watching the live feed.
