How are the Bioshock games scary?
 

Maybe it's just I've been desensitized by creatures with metal pyramids on their heads, creepy alien zombies infecting mining ships, the gates of hell opening on mars and creepy little girls, namely Alessa Gillespie, but I just don't find this scary

That's really not scary, and I get scared very easily.

It's not even intense or creepy to me xD the enviroments are interesting and stuff...but thats it xD

No lol, the last one was out in 2009, the next is out soon

They honestly don't look very nice graphically. Perhaps it was just the one picture.

They are pretty good looking games, though everything looks a little to shiny and smooth imo

the only bit on bioshock that really creeped me out in the second game where you have to get the big daddy suit as the little sister, and you see the world through her eyes and its all like pink and fluffy and butterflies and shizz but then when you move into the light you can see what its really like and walls are all blood-stained and crazy **** like that

I don't recall them ever being marketed as horrors?

No game is scary. Apart from when Robot Colonel goes nuts in the final act of Metal Gear Solid II. That genuinly freaked the shit out of me when I was 12.

I don't find Bioshock series scary at all really. It may shock you sometimes because things jump out at you but ultimately its not scary really.

The only game that I can think of that could be scary is the Dead Space series omg. :bawling:

Games don't scare me much though now although Project Zero is definitely one that came close.
