Have you ever felt 'lost'?

By lost I mean not knowing where you fit in the world or where you are heading with life, not because you have taken a wrong turn on a path and can't find your way back.

Yes all the time.

Benjamin 19-04-2011 06:37 PM

What did you do to overcome it?

-sounds like he should be on Jeremy Kyle-

Jessica. 19-04-2011 06:43 PM

Constantly.

Princess 19-04-2011 06:59 PM

Yes, although it usually works out one way or another.

Marsh. 19-04-2011 07:03 PM

I felt completely lost when I finished my a-levels. Didn't know what I wanted to do.
But, like Princess said, it actually works itself out.

_Seth 19-04-2011 07:12 PM

Yeah. Sometimes I'll go through a short phase (like 13 seconds) of seriously thinking "What am I doing with my life?"

What's with all the life questions, ukturtle? :joker:

MTVN 19-04-2011 07:18 PM

Yes :/

Not yet I haven't but I am a very lucky person with family that really look out for me and I them, when you have that security of people in your life who you know will never let anyone hurt you and also know they will never hurt you, that's a wonderful thing.

I have come across people who have felt they didn't belong or felt lost as UkTurtle described above, I hope to those I was able to, that I supported them and also hope I will always try to be there for anyone who felt that way 'if' they wanted someone to support and help them in any way.

It never stops.

ILoveTRW 19-04-2011 08:04 PM

Never

All the time. I try to vary what I do in life when I feel like that to make myself feel a bit better, because I don't have the answers right now. I'll go for a walk, browse in town, study, cook, clean, just something to distract me for a while. Of course when it happens in the middle of the night, then I've got no escape haha. It sucks.

I dunno, I just feel a little directionless at the moment and I have never felt like this before. It's weird and very frustrating. :)

GypsyGoth 19-04-2011 08:29 PM

We're all doomed :bawling:

Niall 19-04-2011 08:38 PM

Yes. :bawling:

Stacey. 19-04-2011 08:38 PM

Like ages ago yeah :'(

Then things happen that make your life better :')

Kerry 19-04-2011 08:38 PM

Yep, plenty of times. Try and keep distracted or throw yourself into something though when you can't just keep telling yourself the feeling passes, because it does. OK it may pop up again, but just as it does it will also go again

Niall 19-04-2011 08:42 PM

I actually keep thinking about whats gonna happen after I die recently. It scares me sh!tless thinking about stuff like that. :bawling:

I've come to terms with the notion that there will just be nothingness.

Kerry 19-04-2011 08:45 PM

You won't know what comes after death. You'll be dead. Gone. Can't think
