Should Men be ALLOWED to walk around Topless???

I Just wanted to make tyhis thread to point out how sesxist our society is, and how redicuklous this thread title sounds.

Don't you think it's funny, that we would never create such a question as "Should MEn be allowed..." why do we even need to ask the question should men or women be allowed, i thought we are equal?? so why is there a thread asking if WOMEN should be allowed something???

We live in a society that prides itself on freedoms, but we still see a forum thread called "Should WOMEN be allowed"??

Women shouldn't be ALLOWED ANYTHING, BECAUSE WOMEN DON'T HAVE TO BE ALLOWED.
WOMEN DON"T NEDD PERMISSION ANY MORE THAN MEN. that's the whole point!

Proud to be gay and PROUD to be a feminist.

Well yes, men do that but they do not have any functional organs on display by doing so,the one thing that cannot be disputed is that men and women are physically built different and Women have important functional organs on the upper part of their bodies.

Similarly if men walked around with no trousers or shorts on then that also would be unacceptable. Not sexist at all but an acknowledgment that men and women are made different physically. Some things should be covered up in public.

I don't know of any Mothers who would want to be able to go completely topless with their Children in the street,park.whatever. Or would want their Children seeing other women totally topless in public places either.

The very obvious fact is that men and women are very different. It's not that difficult to figure out really. Women's breasts are viewed as parts of the body to be desired on a sexual basis - they also have a function for the feeding of newborn children. Neither of which the male breast area is typically known for.

I'd actually say THIS thread is more sexist than any other you refer to:- as it's quite clear you have very sexist views on men - certainly it comes over that way.

Learn to love both sexes - regardless.

Because if a woman were to walk outside now topless she'd probably get arrested for indecency laws, whereas men wouldn't, jackass, hence the debate.

Niall 23-04-2011 12:32 PM

Yeah because there aren't any reproductive organs hanging off a man's chest.

I wish some men would cover up though. It really makes me heave.

Only hot men should be allowed.

No.

It makes me uncomfortable.

The one's who do it seem to think they are gods gift. They just look pathetic.

Jell! lol.

No, I am happy with myself but I do think it is rude to go around exposing yourself however handsome or ugly they may be. Because others may find it good etc it makes others uncomfortable.

everyone should be able to do as they choose as long as it isnt morally wrong. if people dont like it, they dont have to watch.

I understand this point of view. However, if I was walking down the street with my designer clothes on a hot day and I saw some lads with their shirts off. I would feel uncomfortable.

im sure a homeless person would feel uncomfortable with you walking down the street parading your 'designer clothes' but it wouldn't stop you would it?

its because you think your above them you should have your way

I do feel above the shirtless posers.

I think they need to get themselves some class.

BTW, I give to the homeless and help during Church community work.

doesn't make them less uncomfortable when you are in your 'designer clothes', no one is forcing you to go out on the streets and look at them. dont like it, stay inside. a homeless person doesn't have the option.

In my area whenever I go to the shops or to church etc I just cannot avoid them. Hundreds of them walking around like and advert for Armani. Disgusting.

CharlieO 24-04-2011 04:18 PM

then move. your views are selfish. you dont like it you have to change you cant expect anyone else to.

however i really cant be bothered to argue with someone whos views are very one sided so i dont really care tbh

Because I speak the truth,

WHY SHOULD I move cause of them exposing themselves making me feel uncomfortable.

Surely someone agrees with me.
