I'll hate it when our dog dies, thankfully he's only 3 and a half, Really very sorry to hear of your loss kerry,I can imagine the devastation you feel, they become like family.

I'm thinking of you Kerry and just remember all the fun times you had with Tara.

About 14. A Staffie. Her spine collapsed after a few weeks of not being too well. She was treated by a vet a bit back but it hasn't worked. They said any more meds would cause her kidneys to collapse

That's very sad. Our own dog is fine but the dog my grandparents have now is on her way out too. A mongrel terrier, she's a wily old thing about 15 or 16 years old but she's gone fully blind and there's this weird crust building around her eyes. It's devestating and oddly brilliant to see her struggle to climb out of her kennel to get a rub.

Aww Kerry, I'm really sorry! Dunno what else to say.. you must be devastated!

She had the lot. Grey beard. Wobbly legs. Deaf (when it suited her) and blind as a bat. Not to mention snored like a train and stunk like a skunk.

But Tara :)

Aah Kerry, a Staffie, our dog is a Staffie too, he's got such a fantastic personality. You really must be devastated, I don't know what to say just that I am thinking of you.

Kerry 23-04-2011 08:41 PM

Thanks for your kind words guys  xx

Stu 23-04-2011 08:49 PM

Our fella is a westie - Chico - his white bearded chin long since morphed into what I dub 'Pedigree Chum Brown'. His got a dinner bowl moustache.

Anyway sorry for the loss etc. What are yis gunna do with her? Our backyard has become some morbid burying ground for our own and anyone who is a close relations dogs. It causes the current one to go mental.

Not sure. Just numb atm. Not really thought. Just logged on here to keep myself occupied and my brain ticking

Not exactly working. Half cut as I've not eaten

I'm very sorry for your loss Kerry :( that's awful news, only other pet owners can really understand how it feels to lose one, they mean so much to you without ever saying a word, it's mad and wonderful at the same time. Hugs!
