Beady Eye Not Releasing Second Album in 2011
Beady Eye have revealed plans to release their second studio album by the end of the year.
The 'Millionaire' band reached number three in the UK with their debut album Different Gear, Still Speeding back in March, but now they are looking forward to creating new material. "The big difference between Beady Eye and Oasis is that we're not going to put the ball down, sit around in a big house and go, 'We're great'," frontman Liam Gallagher told The Irish Times. "We won't be taking months and months in the studio either. We don't want to roll this over into next year. There will be an awesome new album coming soon." The group recently released a cover version of the Beatles classic 'Across The Universe' to raise funds for the ongoing relief effort in Japan following the country's natural disasters last month. The band will also play a number of UK festivals this summer including Reading and Leeds, Isle of Wight and the iTunes music festival. :D |
I haven't heard any of their stuff, are they any good?

Yeah I like them, I'd say you'd enjoy their music.

More deriative Liam Gallagher sh*t...Just what we all need.

Awesome. Really looking foward to it. I didn't they were gonna work without Noel but this new direction really works for them.
Still, I hope Noel releases some solo stuff soon, I think that will be even better than Beady Eye. |

Liam Gallagher has admitted that he expected Beady Eye's debut album to enter at the top of the UK chart earlier this year.
The singer insisted that he is fine with the band's eventual position of number three, but blamed Adele for missing out on gaining their first number one record. Gallagher told The Sun: "I was expecting it to go to number one but it was released in the year of Adele. Never mind, number three will do. We were all happy with it." The 38-year-old also made a U-turn on claims he made that Beady Eye would release their second studio album by the end of 2011. He explained: "Some songs are written for the next one. But no, it's not gonna be released this year. I might have had too much coffee that day and got carried away." |
It'll be out summer 2012
