I've evidently not kept up to date with this new series, partly because it was due to air last year and I simply assumed the worst (cancellation). I'll have to catch this on iPlayer. I bummed the first series like nothing else.

I only caught a couple of episodes but have since watched a lot on YouTube. Only bought a stand-up DVD of his a few weeks ago (the one called Stand-Up Comedian)

Shaun 04-05-2011 10:59 PM

balls, completely forgot about this

Shaun 19-05-2011 08:33 PM

last night's destruction of Russell Howard

GypsyGoth 19-05-2011 08:35 PM

He's very funny, but I keep forgetting to watch.

Shaun 25-05-2011 10:54 PM

tonight's  the song about Michael McIntyre / observational comedy :laugh2:

Shaun 01-06-2011 10:41 PM

this entire Scottish/paedo/Braveheart bit was on his 'Stand-Up Comedian' DVD :bored: the same DVD where he made a comment about Eddie Izzard's "pretend spontaneity" :(

I'm totally using this as an opportunity to strike back.

GypsyGoth 01-06-2011 10:50 PM

The guy who is interviewing him sounds very familiar.

Shaun 01-06-2011 10:53 PM

Armando Ianucci (or something like that) - he's often on Have I Got News For You, and I think was in The Thick of It

Shaun 01-06-2011 10:54 PM

oh, he created The Thick of It

GypsyGoth 01-06-2011 10:56 PM

That's where I've heard his voice, on Have I Got News, thanks

Shaun 19-02-2014 02:41 PM

:amazed: it's back soon
