Yeah the fuel was ethanol based that burns invisibly so you cant see the flame...

there's a open wheel racing series here in america called Indycar where the gas is 100% ethanol and i've defo seen cars that have had ethanol fires where you could see flames in the cockpit because of speeding off from thier pits but that's nothing compared to this wow
