Big Brother is back in its new home next door on Channel 5. Emma Willis is the presenter of the brand-spanking new show with Brian Dowling and Nikki Grahame taking control of all things BBXtra [[the new Big Brother’s Little Brother]]. Big Mouth also returns with comedian Jack Whitehall here to present and grill all of the evictees after the main show.
The show is still the same old show loved on Channel 4 but there’s many new features including an extended LIVE nominations Sunday show and Wednesday extended show too. As well as that ‘Vote to Evict’ has gone and it’s all vote to save. The prize fund is a massive £500,000!
The graphics package this year is all about ‘Old and New’, signifying a new channel but the same old Big Brother. The eye can be seen above and below is the eye with its background as it’ll be seen at the end of the titles sequence. Also making a return is the 24 hour LIVE feed available for red-button users, this year it also comes with a room selection!

There will be many twists in the series and the house has been completely refurbished for the brand new season. The same old favourite rooms return such as the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom, the garden, the all important task room and of course the diary room.
There is many brilliant tasks and housemates to come and this series is promised to be one hell of a ride. Viewers hold on to your hats, Big Brother is back.

Here’s the eviction studio, it gives you an idea of some of the designs that are in the house...

Now time for the BBXtra studio- the new BBLB it’s a small studio with room for a small audience that will give their views on the housemates.

There’s a large turquoise sofa for Brian and Nikki to interview evicted housemates/ friends and family or celebrity guests...

And in the middle there’s a large news desk for all the latest news to be delievered...

Notice the whole BBXtra studio is extremely small, this is because the show is only an Xtra and not as important as the main show.
Now let’s take a look inside the BBBM studio, it’s the same basic design as on E4 but very unique...

Next time- The rules and the house plan!

The same old rules apply in the Big Brother house although there are a few big changes. Firstly all walkers can and will be immediately replaced in the house, secondly housemates will all be on a three strike warning and then removed from the house. Finally- any discussion of nominations will result in the housemate being up for the public vote that week.
Big Brother returns on Tuesday 9th August with an extended Launch show from 9:00-10:40 followed by Big Mouth on C5. Here’s the weekly schedule for the new improved Big Brother...

Saturday- 10:00-11:05- After last night’s eviction the housemates compete in a mini-task,
Sunday- 9:00-10:30- The Sunday show is extended as the housemates reveal their nominations, LIVE and against the clock.
Monday-10:00-11:05- The Shopping Task begins.
Tuesday- 10:00-11:05- More from the second day of the shopping task.
Wednesday- 9:30-11:05- The Wednesday show is extended, allowing space for twists, but mostly for the results of the shopping task.
Thursday- 10:00-11:05- Thursday is a free day for the housemates to reflect before tomorrow’s oncoming eviction.
Friday- 9:00-10:00/10:25-11:05- Friday of course means an eviction, catch all of Thursdays highlights in the first show then watch one housemate being booted out with the lowest vote to save in the second show. The show is separated by 5-news at 10. The eviction show is followed by Big Mouth on Channel 5.

After the last Big Brother series on Channel 4 the production team that would be taking over on Channel 5 decided to completely knock down the house. Now a brand new house has been created and it’s one of the sexiest yet. Take a look at the brand new house plan...



Tomorrow- The House Entrance & The Stairway in...!

So now you know the basics it’s time to reveal the plans. Firstly let’s take a look at the brand new entrance to the Big Brother house...



Firstly you can see the three massive TV’s that on eviction night will broadcast everything happening in the house, they’ll also have the voting numbers on during evictions. Secondly we can see the platform that has been specially designed as a presenting deck for Emma Willis to use, you can see a circular pod besides the presenting deck. This is where the housemates will come out of before speaking to Emma and then entering the all important house. The cylinder has steps underneath so the housemates can enter it. It also leads to the studio.



The Big Brother eye is in a 3D design on the back wall with a posh carpeted surface covering the house which has cost a ton of money. Although doesn’t it look fantastic! The booth lights up green when a housemate is about to come out of it and goes red when there’s nobody inside it. Emma will present mainly from the presenting deck but can go up the stairs and present around. Along from the presenter booth is the small walkway along the press-pit towards the main stairs.



Once the housemate reaches the top of the stairs they face a final few metres before entering the main house through the doors!

The housemates have just met the crowd to either boo’s or cheers and have been snapped for the press but now they must enter the house...

Here is a picture of the door the housemates will enter through. You can see a few 3D circles on the wall in the color of blue...



The housemates face a short walk down a stone staircase. The walls are covered in a few pictures of hills with the sky behind. The circles sticking out make the entrance seem even smaller...

As i said, The Outside of the house is horrible But! I love the Stairs and the Eviction Studio. The Stairs are very cool! The Houseplan is very different too. :) :blush:

None of these ever interest me, I dont know why people make them?

So you’ve seen the entrance and the stairway into the house. Now it’s time for the first room- the living room!

This picture is zoomed out a bit from out last one revealing the floor, the plasma TV and the diary room door...

Our first glimpse of the stunning new seating area from a camera above the entry door to the living area...



The seating area in all its glory. This year it’s all joined together and can be taken apart although Big Brother won’t be doing this. In the center is a coffee table. Underneath is the same old fashioned wallpaper as a carpet but in blue....



Here’s what the housemates can see of the living room if they sit in the far corner...



This wall is known as ‘the left eye’, the eye motif for all Big Brother seasons is ‘the right eye’ but on this wallpaper the eye is the left eye, confusing hey for the housemates!



Your first teaser of the garden! What can you see!? The doors to the garden are glass and open outwards...



The corner of the living room holds an orange phone, what will this be used for!?



So there's the living room, I must admit I think it's the best living room I've created and I'm very proud of it.

P.S- I wanted to show you the website design before but it has a house picture on it's design, now you've seen the picture [[Living Room Seating area]] I can show it you...bear in mind it took like 10 minutes!

Looking Great So Far!

Oh I wasnt knocking people who make them more saying I woulnt have the patience for it :D

It does take patience to make one :L And Joe, the Living Room is really growing on me..

Outside the living room is the most beautiful garden yet...

Here’s a view of the living room from the garden. You can see the decking here.



To the left is a small potted plant walkway and seating area that leads to the kitchen door.



The monument in the corner can be used by housemates when it’s raining if they need a bit of fresh air.



There’s three brightly coloured sun-beds for when it gets hot!



The bedroom door is covered in blood! You can also see the pool besides it! But where’s the smoker’s bench I wonder...



Mwahahahaha! The smoker’s bench is across the pool! What if fags are dropped in their, or noisy swimmers wet the smokers! Uh-oh, trouble ahead!?



A view of the bridge that’s nailed to the floor and sturdier than you think. There will certainly be mischief to do with this bridge, what if a smoker falls in!?



A closer up view of the Smoker’s Bench with the fag ends draw. The seat is very uncomfy and is very hard, smoker’s won’t be having a nice time sat here!

The garden wud be good if it was big. oh and BB wouldn't use the C4 font on 5.

I thought it was the right size, what else would be in there? More grass area? Bare in-mind there's hidden house areas to be revealed later in the series!

Im loving all of your work so far apart from the outside bit, it's slighty over the top but never the less you have done a good job so far and I cannot wait to see more :)
