What I couldn't stand about BB9
 

Was the Darnell/Mo/Rachel/Mikey/Kathreya/etc group. They were so fake and calculated and thinking they were the fan favorites because they penned themselves as being outcasts. They're reaction to Kathreya's eviction was annoying and overdramatic as **** and it's hilarious how much Kathreya thought she was going to win and how she said 'Please don't take anymore of my friends away Big Brother!!!' and 3 seconds later Davina says 'Kathreya, you have been evicted' and she got a look of shock and horror on her face lmfao.

Thank god for Sara who was the saving grace of BB9. And Rex. Two people that were honest and genuine.

Rex was a twat, he wasnt 'honest' just liked to stir trouble (which is good for BB, but he was still a twat).

The show died after Luke and Bex went because they were the only ones who could see through them.

Mo, Darnell, Rex, Mario, Coolio > Everyone else from every series combined

Horrible taste you've got. Especially your liking for Mo who is one of the most boring and lazy housemates in Big Brother history and didn't add a damn thing to the show.

Agree with every single letter. BB9 could have been great if that group had forced there way to the final by evicting the entertaining housemates.

Mo, Darnel, Rachel and Kat. Kill me now i hated them. Lisa or sarah should have won.

Just finished bb9 2 weeks ago. once bex and co got evicted it got so boring. Darnell is my least favourite HM of all time.

Mo was quite irrelevant. Apart from he was the victim in Spitgate.

I think Kat was the most calculating. lol. I think they all are to an extent.

The week Bex was evicted.. Mo should have gone.

It should have been a proper fight between the whispers and B Block right to the end.

Imagine if Luke and Rachel were the final 2. And Rachel announced the winner. Luke stood right next to her. LMAO. It would have been more hilarious than when Luke was allowed to "chip in" his little say during Rachel's winners interview. LOL

Well it was sort of groups within groups. Rex, Darnell and Mo were fine. Mo did nothing but the other two were fantastic and the 'lads' of the series. The fact that Kat and Rachel and them were friends with them doesn't change that IMO.

The rest were by far the bigger bitches, especially when they had the numbers and thought they had the popularity near that start. Just like series 7 and 10.

Yeah, the public got rid of Bex as she was entertaining, and kept the bore to float basically to the end.

Nadia didn't add a damn thing to Big Brother 5.

from what I watched Michelle, Victor and Marco and Emma!were the entertaining ones but i watched like 10 episodes

God half of you people don't know what you're talking about.

Big Brother 9 was great from start to the semi final regardless of what anyone says - the final was a disgrace obviously but the final week wasn't as bad as most final weeks are.

I often find long series go in 'chapters' so at the start we had:

Sylvia, Alex, Dennis, Jennifer
Mario, Lisa, Luke

As the series went on abit:

Luke, Bex, Dale, Stu
Rex, Mo, Darnell ~ B Block 9 was born.


Then of course through the weeks, the Whisper Club kept loosing members and that - but B Block stayed strong.
I hate how people count Kat, Mikey and Rachel as B-Blockers - they aren't.

They're friends of Darnell and Rex.

Point being - the 'whisper club' kept BB9 interesting and entertaining with their bitching, arguing and that.

When they died of - B Block kept it together.

I loved Bex and Luke; infact I also liked Stu and Dale aswell - they were all hilarious but saying the series died when they left is bollocks.

Rachel, Mikey and Kat never should of gotten as far as they did.

Rachel - was a boring Welsh old lady who should of drowned in the pool.
Mikey - was a dull blind Scottish prat who thought his rants were funny.
Kat -was a fat chubby Tai disgrace who thought she had the show in the bag.


The OP is wrong, B Block weren't some big bitchy group - the other group were.
And even so, what's wrong with it?

It's a game show, playing the game is what it's all about; The only thing that would of made this series better [other than having a different final] would be if Rex and Darnell were like Jason and Victor and game planned abit more.

This. Ive just watched it and the everyone gets the b-blockers and whisperers mixed up just because the hell/heaven thing made everyone forget and get confused.

Anyone got links to BB9? Really wanna watch this (even though I already plan to watch BB7 and BB10 after BB3 :laugh: ) so I can see if it was that bad.

I have it on DVD but I remember it's on YouTube - use a proxy and type in 'Big Brother 2008 UK' or just DirtyMonkey151 and it'll be there, It might be out of sync/low quality though.

TBH, You should watch BB7 Yeah - but watch BB9 before BB10.
Big Brother 9 is a far better series; watching 2 series will be like 'overdose' in a way lol - you'll be half way through BB10 when CBB8 begins.

But yeah man; give BB9 a go - really good series.

I'm gonna finish BB3, move on to BB7 and if I have time I'll watch BB9 but I highly doubt I can squeeze in that much before August unless my internet connection speeds up. :joker:

I think I remember really detesting Mo and Darnell by the end. Especially Mo.

Rex could be a twat, Bex and Luke were fake etc but there was something vile and disgusting (can't remember why) about MO that made me feel sick everytime he was on screen.

Well i really liked Lisa and obviously she was very popular considering she got the best reception of the whole series

Kat should have been evicted earlier on. But her eviction was one of the best evictions ever. It was still a good final. We had 4 entertaining housemates in the final. And Rachel. Just wish the likes of Luke and Bex lasted longer. Suppose people would get fed up and they could have ended up in bed together the last remaining weeks. lol. Maybe it was best to get rid of one of them. But Stupid Luke got "depressed" all week after Bex left.. then he was evicted :nono: If he lightened up a bit.. he could have stayed. I know it was a bit hated at this point but he could have still turned it around.
