Horror vs. Comedy
What film/programme would you rather watch?
Both my favourite genres, but Im always up for a good horror  |
horror :amazed:
i like comedy but not comedy films >_> |
Both awful
|
Comedy out of the two. Horrors bore me. At least comedy's may rise a giggle
|
I don't watch horror films.
Was at my mates a couple of months back, was just us 2 and 2 girls, we stupidly let the girls choose what film to put on and they chose Hostel :bored: One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. Before that the last one I seen was Jeepers Creepers 2 about 6-8 years ago I think |
Horror

Horror
|
Comedy. I could watch them all the time, have to be in the mood for a Horror film.

Horror also, btw. I like the adrenaline rush. |

What is your fave? |

My all-time favorite horror film is probably Return of the Living Dead. It has a happy mix of horror and comedy. If you like Zombie flicks I'd recommend it. For pure horror I like films like The Thing, Poltergeist, Alien/Aliens, Predator, The Blair Witch Project, Let The Right One In. I guess I tend to like the older stuff. |

Comedy. I hate Horror. My idea of entertainment isn't to have the sh!t scared out of me thanks. :bored:
|
I cant handle horror films so id have to choose comedy but i hate comedy films as well.
|
I love comedy films, horrors are alright but I dont really watch them that much
|
Neither.
I like some comedy, particularly black comedy, but in general I prefer dramas/thrillers |
Horror out of the two.
I love really well thought out horrors (not of the Zombies type thing), psychological thriller types / dramas. Like comedies that but not when they are of the slapstick stupid comedy. |
Morning Pyramid.. good holiday? :D
|
Comedy. Horrors don't scare me and what's usually left nine times out of ten is just a recycled idea forced into a terrible film with naff acting and more cliches than you can shake a stick at.
I'd rather laugh at things. Comedy has a much better social element that I value, sharing and repeating quotes ad nauseum etc. I mean entertainment wise there's just no comparison for me. Especially when watching a film in groups. I'm surprised horror has so many votes. |
Love both.
Just wish I could find a horror that actually scares me |

I did thank you! Even despite some bad weather, it was fab, just fab. and to answer your next question....no I didn't !!! Watched a cracking thriller one night on hols- half cut, it was really good and damned if I can recall the name of it now as I'd have liked to have watched it when I was compos mentus! |

Ooo Horrors.. I like films like The Shining, Scream, Misery! Vampire films too.. like From dusk till dawn and Near Dark. |
Although I do like comedy.. like.. American Pie, Ace Ventura etc..
Or family films that everyone can relate to! Home, Alone, Matilda, Disney films like The Lion King. Ooo The Labyrinth too  |
Quote:
also love the more 'darker' Vampire movies. *licks lips* |
I suppose you can like both in almost equal measure, as some B horrors are so watchable because they are so bad and thus pure comedy :joker: I chose horror in the poll though, although I prefer a good action film and thriller, love who dun its, James Bond, and most Bruce Willis films.
