I didn't realize Paedophile was a sexuality?

Not sure if pomosexuality and mechaphile are true sexualities, but I know lttle about them so am willing to learn otherwise.

A pomophile is a person who avoids sexual orientation labels such as heterosexual and homosexual.

I know what it is, but I'm not sure that a person who chooses a sexual identitty or label (or not) is a sexuality.

Surely by calling oneself a pomophile it is a label anyway. Confusing ...

98.5% of the UK and USA, according to 2 huge studies are heterosexual. Which makes sense.

That 2% figure has been debunked time and time again now by popular science. Most worthwhile conclusions remain ambiguous and say it can be anywhere from 2 to 13 percent which leaves a massive margin for error.

Even if it were true 2% is still a massive proportion of the population.

2 huge surveys. We rely on stats for everything we know about large numbers of people.

I know gays get pissed (too much time on entertainment forums makes them think there are more gays around) but thems the apples.

Obviously forums like this do not offer a proper reflection. I think everyone can admit to that.

I wouldn't even go much higher. 5 or 6% maybe ... and maybe even only with people my own age ... but 2%'s a load of muck I reckon.

So are you suggesting that some people are born paedophiles in the same way that some people are born homosexual? Therefore, paedophiles are only doing what comes naturally, and should not be condemned for their sexual behaviour against children?!

Heterosexual, but not in anyway against the idea of bisexuality or homosexuality if i felt that way, but as it stands i don't think im attracted to the same sex.

Paedos act on their desires - strong as they may be - by choice and without consent.

That figure is too flawed to take seriously. As we have discussed on here before.

You cannot compare stats of people say, liking certain TV shows or what job they do or whether they own their own house or not, to something so complicated as not only defining but also willing to share and reveal your own sexuality in a survey.

Ticking a box is not always that simple. Therefore that % is seriously flawed.

There are many people who are married and closeted that would tick 'straight' for example.

Hundreds of thousands of samples. If you have a better survey then lets see it.
