I Almost Died Today, Like REALLY Almost.
 

I actually really need to share this, honestly.

I was in town today with my mate, a cute girl and my best friend.
We were like coming out of HMV and were going to cross the road to go to this little head shop - I wasn't paying attention at all.


We stopped to wait for the cars to stop and then I couldn't see anymore coming so I was like 'Epic' and went to run across the road and my friends and everyone else stayed where they were.

I ran across the road and stopped in the middle of a little island, and let another car past.

Then I walk straight out - off the little island, onto the road again and was walking slowly.
I was showing off tbh, because the girl was really hot who I was with and I wanted to look all awesome - but anyway I was walking and then I heard them all shouting at me but I thought they were just kind of worshipping how much balls I had.

No.

Suddenly I heard above everyone else's screams, my best friend just shouting 'DUDE!!' and I turned around to see a Double Decker Bus - inches away from me.

I'm not even kidding, you have no idea how ******ing close this Bus was to me.

I actually ran and jumped off the road, and was almost crying with shock - like I couldn't stop shaking, and everyone was kind of like WTF.

I swear to God, then when my friends crossed the road I was so grateful, like beyond grateful - to my best friend who shouted 'Dude!'.
Like honestly, I wouldn't even be on here at all right now - I would of died 4 Hours ago.


Honestly people, events like these make you realize how lucky it is to be alive.
Still can't get over it.

I literally looked at the bus man when I turned round to face the hideous bus that was coming at me - and he just seemed like he didn't give a ******.

I know drivers that would rather drive themselves off a road - rather than run over a Deer.
This bastard was willing to just squash me.

Ew - All I could think afterwards was, 'I could of been under a tire, with my insides on the road if my mate hadn't of shouted Dude.'

About six months ago I was almost knocked down. It really woke me up to being careful on the roads.

You've obviously had no experience of evil bus drivers, they start the bus when you run for it and just get there, and other times go right past your stop when you ring the bell :mad: So why would they stop for Patrick :eek: :(

Yeah plenty of the new ones that popped up closed down because the synthetics were their only source of revenue. Plenty of big ones are still open for folks like me to get fine glassware and seeds, fortunately :laugh2:.
