Gay Mexican wrestler Cassandro has been tipped to appear on Channel 5's first series of Big Brother.

The 41-year-old transsexual has apparently told producers "come and get me" and has claimed that he wants to "inspire" and "excite" on the reality show.

Cassandro, real name Saul Armendariz, will be visiting the UK in the summer with his group Lucha Futures, according to the Daily Star.

"I'm ready for anything," said the sports star. "I'm here to set a positive example for everyone. As a gay man who has had a hard road to be accepted in my profession, I want to inspire and excite the British public. From what I hear Big Brother is the best way to do it."

A Channel 5 production source commented: "It would certainly make unmissable viewing."

Celebrity Big Brother returns in August. The non-celeb version of the show is back in September.

however,
What I don't need to see are any more 'transsexuals' or 'transvestites' or whatever the hell they are calling themselves.
Keeping in mind Cassandro is actually just mocking the whole thing as a 'baddie' in the ongoing skit that is Luche Libre.
But if Saul himself (not his characters which includes a Saul) but himself came on then that could be interesting.
But he can't... he would just end up doing the character which is really just annoying.

Brave move auditioning considering last year you were convinced Endemol and Channel 4 were conspiring to make Christianity look riddiculous.
