So windy here in Glasgow, there are branches scraping our windows :|

Jordan. 23-05-2011 02:19 PM

The noise of it is pissing me off.

Crimson Dynamo 23-05-2011 02:24 PM

At least we dont all live in Missouri where a night tornado has killed 89 people in one small town.

Lee. 23-05-2011 03:02 PM

It's insane here! Trees blown over and allsorts! :(

Jordan. 23-05-2011 03:32 PM

Ok so I just went into the garden to find the chair swing collapsed and all the flowers blown out of their pots :laugh2:

joeysteele 23-05-2011 04:10 PM

Aonach Mor, 111 mph, that's where the cable car thing is, I love there, wouldn't care to be in them with those winds though.

Same here. driving home from work (Livingston), I passed 3 trees blown over, a huge billboard collapsed - resting against the side of some poor sods house, and one car smashed into a lamp post. Numerous roads right through to Glasgow have been closed off due to fallling trees.

:o

My conservatory is leaking like a sieve. :bawling:

Winds in the Strathclyde and Lothians belt is averaging 60 - 80 mph.

Kerry 23-05-2011 08:13 PM

On Saturday, when the world was supposed to end, a massive gust hit the house and knocked bins crashing everywhere. Talk about crap myself :laugh2:

Still really gusty now. I love hearing it

BigBrotherfan4ever 23-05-2011 08:19 PM

I've not heard winds like this for years here in Glasgow, my brother inlaw is a taxi driver, & he said the amount of tree's that have uprooted is unbelievable.

Josy 23-05-2011 08:20 PM

It's been really bad here, 1 man died today because a tree fell on top of his car.
