Neighbours

Do you speak much with yours?

Most of ours are quite elderly, we have a younger couple right next door which we have the talk over the fence conversations from time to time, but never around the house or anything. And the odd 'Afternoon!' with a couple near opposite us. Its quite keep yourself to yourself around here, dont particularly like it but I wouldnt like constant noisy in-your-face neighbours either

Our neighbours were hilarious yesterday - one built a BIG (2m) wall between them in back garden and in evening the come out and swear + punch at each other - effing hoot to watch out the window!

Love thy neighbour!

I have gaybours, they seem pretty cool. My mom gets them to help out with handyman stuff once in a while. But I don't talk to them.

My other next door neighbour is a gossipy woman, I don't like her.

Ermmm, not really. I like it that way

Ninastar 24-05-2011 10:37 PM

we had some right arsewholeish neighbors. they used to like park their car in front of our house, then use our driveway to like reverse their car, and then my mum asked them to stop and they said no. this then caused my mum to become a bitch back (which still pisses me off, just ignore it woman). but then the woman got cancer and died. so they dont live there anymore

shes gunna haunt me now for being so nonchalant about it

Those neighbours sounded rude.

My next door neighbours are an old couple, I normally just say hello but that's it, they're pretty stuck up really

The neighbours we share a drive with are quite an elderly couple but they're really nice, always speak to them when I see them and they always send birthday cards and stuff to us which we do back.

The neighbours the other side that our garden links with though can suck my tits. The woman is such a stuck up bitch, my mum always makes an effort to say hello to her when she sees her out but the slag just ignores it, the husband is alright though. But christ, they have 4 children I think and 3 of them are kids and they scream and shout all the time and one rides this scooter on their decking which is against one of our walls and you can hear it so loudly; I'm going to squat out of my window one of these days and take a dump on their heads. :bored:

I only just moved to my house, but my neighbours seem cool enough.

Kerry 24-05-2011 10:55 PM

Yeah, talk to immediate neghbours and help out with stuff. Others we chat to aswell though not all as we just never got to know them. Nice enough community feel though

Ninastar 24-05-2011 10:55 PM

ben i have never seen a more depressing avatar in my life

I have an elderly couple on one side and a family of four with two young boys the other side. I wouldn't say I'm close to either but I don't dislike them and will say hello if I see them. The two boys run on our drive sometimes when they're outside playing which is sort of annoying but then I remember I used to be like that when I was younger. I used to have rude neighbours, the woman threw over a can of beer into our garden before and it didn't go down well. I used to be close to one of the guys who lived there when we first moved to our house but he ended up being a right twat, he was a lot older than me too, I don't even know why we were friends really. I miss my neighbours who used to live across the road from me, they moved to Canada a couple of years ago but the boy who lived there I was best friends with. The whole family were nice and it's a shame they still don't live here.

I have had decent quiet neighbors for the past few years but in the past have decked one or two of them in the street in arguments over noise late at night. :dance:They both moved out shortly afterwards. I blame the landlords for looking for a quick buck in rentals instead of helping towards the old fashioned "Neighborhoods"
