Rendering software & help thread
A place for all the design fanatics to compare and review different rendering packages.
I've tried out two in the past. The first I've used was SU podium. It's good for quick preview renders to see how your getting along, but options are limited (no omni lighting) and it crashes A LOT. The canvas size is also very small (In free mode). There's a free download and a full one, but at a deadly £300!! DOWNLOAD: http://www.suplugins.com/ Here's a few things I've rendered with podium: http://i51.tinypic.com/2qbvwad.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/2qth75v.jpg ^^ gud times lulz .................................................. .................................................. ... Kerkythea is by far superior. I get really good quality renders from it. There is a massive host of options, including omni-lighting, but the program is still easy to use. Renders take about 1.5 2hrs, but they're worth it, and canvas sizes can go up as big as you like. Thanks  May upload some rendered pics of my house

^^ f you really want, but this thread isn't from people to post renders of their stuff randomly. I only stuck them up to give examples from the software i've used.
EDIT: Those first pics arent from inside the house i'm making now btw. |
