I heard theories of us being able to play different characters in different time periods in Silent Hill

Can't wait to play SH2 and 3 in High Def, maybe I'll be scared all over again lol

The movie stuff sounds great, MJB really has respect for the games, and Adelaide is <3

Downpour trailer has made even the most stubborn Silent Hill fans happy

Another bombshell was the announcement of another Silent Hill game: Book of Memories for the next gen PSP. Not much more was revealed but the title alone makes me wonder if it will tie into the Book of Lost Memories first seen in Silent Hill 2 some how. I thought maybe the game would be the “Lost Memories” book in interactive form but Cox later confirmed for me that it is a game with a brand new storyline and soundtrack that’s narrative is focused around the “Book of Memories”. As for any connections to previous Silent Hill titles…well Cox was coy with that information, we will just have to wait to hear more!
Also the remakes are being done by Hijinx studios

It seems so, might be worth awaiting a press release from Konami at E3 (Tuesday, I think), it is possible there has been crossed wires

I'd expect ZOE to be an exclusive since it was only on the PS2 but thankfully it isn't, SH being exclusive is perplexing though.

We should be getting a little more on Book of Memories at E3 too

Intrestingly, it might be developed in-house (or Climax)

Silent Hill: Book of Memories, which is coming exclusively to the Vita, will feature multiplayer for the first time in the series' history. No details were given on exactly how the multiplayer will work, but it would be kind of cool to play as one of those freaky nurses.

The game will feature an all-new scenario and soundtrack, and links past and present events in the series in one game. Same here, they've got Tom Waltz (Comics SH: Past Life, SH: Sinner's Reward and Downpour too) writing again, so we know the story will at least be good, I can see it playing out similar to Project Eden

The past of the Silent Hill range will also be highlighted, with KONAMI confirming the release of the Silent Hill HD Collection for Xbox 360 as well as the previously-announced PlayStation 3 version. This much requested set brings the acclaimed Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 to vibrant life as they are revamped to make the most of their new formats. Both enjoy all new enhancements and high-definition graphics and have been reworked, with all-new voice talent, and the addition of Trophies and Achievements. The Silent Hill HD Collection will be released early 2012.

I was going to ask if they will have Achievements on the games, really pleased they do it will make it more worthwhile
