And yeah what Dan said - trust Channel 4 to put their precious BB8 on and no other series.
They arse lick BB8 - mainly because it was the series that made everyone turn off, thus giving them a 'good reason' to axe it.

I really liked that series. So underrated imo.

Big Brother 8 was the first series to go all "PC" because of what happened on a certain CBB a few months beforehand.... Jade Goody and her chronies!

Emily would not have been ejected for saying "******" if the racism thing didn't happen on CBB. She didn't say it in a nasty manner or a bullying way!! Just in a fun way.

BB8 was full of young people too. I think Sam and Amanda should have split up. I reckon Sam would have been evicted first.

I think BB8 was an underated series. It was just start of the "PC" period. Such as kicking Emily out who seemed the most entertaining. They still had good characters though like Chanelle, Charley, Shabnam and Seany!

BB9 was better than BB8 though. I don't think Dennis should have been kicked out but I suppose I can see why he was. His "spitting" wasn't that bad!

Then BB10 they made really stupid choices like axing Live Feed and the house wasn't even fully ready. Along with rubbish housemates IMO.

BB11 they tried to go for mostly normal people but they turned out to be bores.

Anyway sorry this is a thread about BB8. Sure yeah. Watch it. It's not a bad series. Seany should not have been evicted though. That was a shocking eviction. And bloody Carole and Tracey had to stay!!!!!! Gaaaaaah.

Plus Shabs went early and I quite liked Lesley! lol

BB8 wasn't as bad in hindsight, it had some absolute classic moments. But the general production and twists were terrible. Davina was bored stiff in the live shows, but it had the hard task of following BB7 and the race row, so had to be entertaining yet somehow toned down. If that series happened now I think it would be a big hit

I remember being hooked on the live feed on the opening night, watching Lesley and her fishy strawberries and Sam & Amanda watering the plants with the water from the pool :laugh2:

Charley and Chanelle were hilarious, I was always on team Charley but everyone hated her and prefered Chanelle :bored:. they had some of the best and most pointless arguments in BB history. They had an argument over Rihanna's age which ended with Chanelle calling Charley a scruffy little slut :laugh3:.

The thing about Brian was that he admitted to being a massive BB fan and had recorded and rewatched every episode before going in, so some people thought he was playing a game. There was a big thing at the time especially on BBLB about his Shakespeare comment, but he has an English GCSE. If you watch it, which I do recommend you do because its nowhere near as bad as people make out and a lot better than the current crap they're putting out as Big Brother, you can make your own mind up on it.

I love charley and chanelle...but chanelles accent is so annoying.

Also not understanding why everyone seemed to hate carole...she seems a bit moany and crys a lot, but theres serious hatred for her on the forums :suspect:
