What annoys me about BB \'romances\'
 

This really annoys me.

It seems that over the past few series of BB, the people who have been chose to go into BB have been advised by friends and family to 'get a romance going' because that will raise your profile, keep you in longer and get you some big magazine/newspaper deals.

This drives me mad because it means that couples like Helen and Paul who genuinely fell in love are lumped in with all these Herberts. They always get mentioned in the same breath as Kinga and Kemal and all the other fake twerps.

It belittles Paul and Helens hard work.:mad:

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest after watching the newest crop do all they can to get a 'romance' off the ground after only 6 days.

What do you guys think of that?

Yep, yep. Helen and Paul fell genuinely in love (I think Sophie and Lee did too, although sadly they are no longer together, and ditto Michelle and Stuart). But now, they all try and get off with one another, just to raise their own profile and try and stay in the house. Sezer even suggested to Imogen that they have sex, as The Sun will give away £50,000 to any couple that do.

But I think most people do not lump Helen and Paul in with these new breed of housemates that have cropped up over the past few series. I hope they don't anyway!

Helen and Paul have split.
I think Saskia and Maxwell are real now, even though I loved them, I think there may have been an element of fakeness in the house.
But now, I think they are truly in love.

The only two couples I feel genuinely fell in love in BB was Helen and Paul and Michelle and Stuart!!

I think Michelle and Stu were genuine. Same with Maxwell and Saskia but not in the house so much. The last week Saskia was in was publiclity. And of course Helen and Paul but I never saw BB2.

I think Helen and Paul were deffo real, same with Michelle and Stu but i don't think Maxwell and Saskia were, i just thought it was all for publicity so i'm quite surprised that they're still together! None of this year's romances will last except maybe Grace and George if they get together and i hope Lisa and Pete will!

Not sure about Stu and Michelle. I think Stu was like a deer caught in the headlights and Michelle was like Cathy Bates in Misery........

Chantelle and Preston I think were for real, but Preston worries me. The guy is seriously fickle.

Never got the vibe for Lee and Sophie, or Maxwell and Saskia (although they ARE well matched. Both obnoxious and self absorbed bullies.....)

Paul and Helen are just like hands in gloves.

I could not agree more about Maxwell and Saskia- terrible characters.

I used to like Preston, but now Im starting to think hes a bit of a dodgepot- but if he makes Chantelle happy, thats great.

And of course, Helen and Paul are ideal for each other:love::thumbs:

I don't think Michelle and Stuart were real he was just alone for the ride.

Helen and Paul I think were real, though I've read that they have split up but are still friends.
