None, But I think a place for people to argue would be a good idea. At least it would allow things to come to some sort of conclusion instead of closing threads and letting it fester.

Allowing arguments to continue unhindered wouldn't be a good idea. Actually there's no need for arguments to be happening in the first place.

You always get arguments on a forum, it's part of life I'm afraid. So why not have a special forum where a thread that descends into an argument can be put so the argument can carry on and the people who want nothing to do with it can be spared the spectacle, and the people who enjoy pointing and laughing can still point and laugh.

I'm sorry but I don't quite agree. You're always going to have arguments on forums - of course, it would be better if we all got along, but it simply will never happen. I quite like the idea of having a sub-forum to vent feelings. Of course, it has the potential to go over-the-top, but these discussions could be moderated from time to time, rather than having a heated debate in the middle of a thread, which results in the actual thread itself being subsequently closed. :)

I realise by posting in this thread I am doing exactly the same as yourself, responding to a thread the OP made clear was intended for the moderators not ordinary members. so I apologise in advance to the mods for even making this post. However, as I am here now, I might as well post, and then leave it at the one post. I totally agree with Jame's, administrator/moderator in this thread, and if members need to argue they obviously will have to then suffer infractions or bans or just sort it by PM, the latter being the best idea. Moderators are there to try and keep the peace by editing, refereeing if you will, and deleting posts, and banning if neccessary amongst other stuff. They don't need to be told their jobs by others, and a sub forum needed for arguing certainly is not a good idea just imoho. We should all be adult enough to not need such a forum, or simply not be posting otherwise.

There was a big fight night the other week. You missed out :hugesmile: A full blown argument usually happens once every few months now.

I don't think there will be one for ages because now most members are just chilling and speculating about BB.

Then come August the forum will be tanked full of trolls.

Anyway there is no need for an argument or argument thread. lol
