Quote:

A BRITISH former lapdancer, her lover and his ex girlfriend were jailed in Dubai yesterday after a bitter bedroom bust-up.

Danielle Spencer, 31, was found naked in banker Toby Carroll's bed by his fiery Brazilian ex. Furious Priscilla Gomez, 24, then began smashing up his flat and threatened to kill the pair with a knife, it was said.

Carroll called cops and all three were charged with breaching the Arab emirate's strict morality laws and flung into a grim communal jail on 30 days' remand. Danielle, from Hull, and New Zealander Carroll - an HSBC executive - told officials they were only kissing.

But their claims were rejected by Dubai's Misdemeanours Court. Danielle got a month's jail for sex outside marriage, followed by deportation. Gomez and Carroll, in his 30s, also got a month.
Serves 'em right ..... :joker:

A month in jail for having sex outside marriage is pretty messed up though! What happens when unmarried couples go on holiday to Dubai, are they allowed share a hotel room or what's the story?

I assume so yes. I think this happened because it was blatant that they were not married (there were 3 involved) and they all caused a public disturbance.

A couple I know, were moving to Dubai, they were engaged but they brought their wedding forward so they'd be married before they went
