What kind/brand of bread do you buy?

I usually get this

And the blue version of it as well. And always white bread.

MTVN 23-06-2011 11:46 PM

Normally Hovis but I do prefer Warburton's white bread. The crusty bread they make in the local bakery is nice too, and I love Tiger Bread as well

Exactly the same as you Joe

Do love a Greggs uncut bloomer too but daily stuff is Warburtons Toastie

joeysteele 23-06-2011 11:48 PM

I like the same as you InOne, the Warburtons blue and Toastie.

You could make a bed out of it and have a great sleep. Lovely stuff. And I like how you can see through the package and give the bread a wave.

I'm trying to remember this bread I used to always buy when i was in Spain now. Used to have a teddy bear as a mascot I think. It was divine.

Kerry 23-06-2011 11:49 PM

Wish the price wouldn't keep shooting up

My mum goes and buys all these silly boring white bread brands for us.
I don't eat it.

On the way home from school twice a week I usually pick up my own bread:

Sometimes my Brother tries to steal a slice, so I count how much is left after I have abit.
Winning.

Stu 23-06-2011 11:52 PM

Is that really bread? It looks like a gigantic block of hash.

Edit : Well when the picture was mahoosive.

Jords 23-06-2011 11:52 PM

Varies, normally Warbutons.

And brown!

Patrick 23-06-2011 11:52 PM

Are you English pig dogs familiar with Pat The Baker or is it just an Irish brand?

What a wretched race we are. Look at the bloke doing open heart surgery singing away.

Princess 23-06-2011 11:55 PM

Hovis best of both

Stu, Pat the Baker is just Irish.

Niall 23-06-2011 11:56 PM

Good. It's a national point of shame. Although it would be nice to spread the blame around.

Hovis best of both isn't too bad actually. Used to get that a few years ago

Kerry 24-06-2011 12:02 AM

Love a French stick with sesame seeds too but hardly anywhere sells them anymore :bawling: Remember (when I were a lass) going specifically to Sainsbury's for one most days (yes, I really did live it up)

bbfan1991 24-06-2011 12:04 AM

Kingsmill 50:50 or the baguettes from ASDA:hugesmile:.

CharlieO 24-06-2011 06:39 AM

Singapore: none bread here is all sweet and gross

England: either fresh from baker or hovis white.

Niamh. 24-06-2011 09:32 AM
