It really is, was lovely while I was out, but now my house is like a sauna despite all the windows/doors being open

Pyramid* 26-06-2011 01:48 PM

Hates all of you. It windy, very overcast - rainclouds forming and not altogether 'warm or sunny' here in bonny old Scotland. :bawling:

Try to get a grip, honestly - at least try to stop baiting and being troublesome for no real reason. It's really boring.

Have to say: the consensus is that we've probably had our summer now.:(

Haggerston Castle's a great wee place - as long as it's dry and not too cold - you should still have fun.

Enjoy if you do go. :)

Possibly, but as far as I can tell, I doubt it... given Scott's recurring theme (think the last one was about the Scots should be banned from tibbs)......

CharlieO 26-06-2011 02:06 PM

Way too hot :(

Iceman 26-06-2011 02:06 PM

Im not arguing with you on this, im just saying it sounds like a joke, my view.

No argument from this side - like you, I'm only putting out my own point of view too. :)

Yeah we went last year, in april. Weather was ok really but nothing to write home about. Lovely area though.

Just looking at prices now and its cheaper to go to turkey for a week...than to go to scotland/england holiday parks for 5 days. What the hell is up with that

I agree with the prices thing. When I take visitor friends to Scotland around, I'm embarrassed at the cost of the tourist attractions in comparison to other countries - not just Scotland, tends to be UK wide as you say.

Can't you do the holiday abroad (I know with kiddies, it's a whole different ball game) That's when the all inclusive deals etc, must really come into their own if you get a good hotel with good facilities for the kiddiewinkles.

The kids dont have passports :/

Im very very tempted to just book for me and gav though...found one for only £106 per person to icemeler in turkey. Could just take the kids to alton towers or something :D

Heat hates gingers.

Patrick 26-06-2011 02:31 PM

It's warm here - and sunny, but it keeps going through cloudy patches for like 20 Minutes and then Sun.

LOL at you calling Scott boring - I fall asleep reading your posts, and people that say 'We've probably had our Summer now' actually just depress every ******ing one and puts all of us in a bad mood, Just sayin'.

Deary me.... bandwagon stuff.

you might have missed the obvious Patrick, I live in Scotland. You don't. That therefore, gives more weight to what I mention in respect of the weather that I exprience in the area in which I live - than you.

You don't like that - not really my problem is it?
